Andrea Green has transitioned into sustainable business development and consulting after 20+ years focusing her professional career on
bringing compelling products to consumers, both domestically and internationally. From sporting goods and collegiate products to a long stretch in the apparel industry, Andrea has spent the last many years in the licensed consumer products arena,
representing licensee/licensor brands such as Levi’s, Walt Disney Company, World Poker Tour and Hallmark, as well as those from many entertainment studios. She has held functional executive positions dedicated to the fields of Brand Management, IP Licensing, Project Management, Brand Evangelism, Business Development, Marketing and Sales.
Andrea brings her corporate brand building skills and the adventure she experienced introducing “poker as a sport” to the world, as VP Global Consumer Products for the World Poker Tour (WPTE) to the realm of sustainable business strategy. Her quest is to make the business case for how our country’s licensors, consumer goods manufacturers and retailers can transform their companies and brands with a sustainable bottom line focus. One of her immediate initiatives is to communicate the sustainability platforms of the world’s retailers to their suppliers creating a more aware and pro-active relationship.
Andrea is a LIMA (International Licensing Industry Merchandisers Association) member, has received 4 LIMA Awards and is known for her passion and unswerving commitment to all those she represents. She is a member of ISSP, the International Society of Sustainability Professionals) and the SBC Forum, a Los Angeles based sustainable business entity and has completed training in the Wal-Mart Sustainable Packaging protocol.
Andrea grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and has lived in Boulder, Denver, Cincinnati, Tokyo and Kobe Japan and traveled to 44 countries. She now lives in Los Angeles. She holds a BA from the University of Colorado in Japanese Studies and in 2008 completed the inauagral Executive Program in Sustainable Business Management from the Presidio School of Management.
